Hair extensions come in a variety of textures, colors and quality. For this discussion we will primarily discuss quality, although the entier hottest hair extensions site will cover all of the above, as well as how to install them.

Yaki refers to a texture of hair that is similar to Afro-Caribbean hair. It ioften made of Remy hair of varying qualities or can be produced from synthetic hair. Tangling can be  a serious problem with Yaki hair extensions. Remy and Yaki hair if untreated by color or perms would be good choices for people with darker hair. The treatments are hard on the hair though and it doesn’t hold up well after a couple of months.
Remy hair refers to a wide variety of hair and is the type of hair most commonly used for real hair extensions. It is graded, with the best grade coming from an individual person with all the cuticles lying in one direction and shorter hairs removed. The direction of the cuticle is very important to discourage tangling. Lesser quality remy hair will be combined from more than one person, possibly with no discretion in the direction of the cuitcle.

The hair used in creating Remy extensions is real human hair from India. This hair is generally treated to remove the color then colored. While it is the best selling hair for real hair extensions it is actually generally only of medium quality and will not last as long as European or Russian hair.
European hair extensions are excellent quaility and should be available non treated by color or permanents, if indeed they are actually from the claimed source. it is very important when choosing European hair to ensure that is actually from where it says it is.This is on the top end of hair quality.
Russian hair is the ultimate type of hair for most hair extension applications. It is considerably higher priced than Remy hair, but will look beautiful and lasts at least a year if not longer when cared for correctly.
